The fair was started in 1979 by the West Branch Creative Arts Association with only 11 exhibits. This is a two-day Victorian-themed extravaganza and showcases the work of more than 275 juried vendors offering handmade crafts of every conceivable art. The whole family will enjoy all-day free entertainment on the outdoor stage and they can choose from a variety of summer's favorite foods and snacks. The kids can stay cool and have fun in the creek with a duck race or sailboat race that starts at one end of the park and continues down the west branch of the Rifle River to the other side of the park. And for even more kid fun, the park has a children’s playground themed in an enchanted forest design There's also children's contests in watermelon seed spitting, ice cream licking, and even frog jumping.
Follow the trail through the park and across the covered bridge for even more crafts and surprises. The list of exhibitors is at its maximum and there is a waiting list to get in. |
